Project Wiki Public Directory

Quoted from visa blog|your visa to the world

---

My friends and I have recently started a project at www.start.com.my. To start things with, we have created a Wiki Public Directory. We have a bold vision of making it the most complete yellow pages or public directory in Malaysia. Having numbers to access any airports in Malaysia, being able to locate any branch of any bank in Malaysia easily, finding contact numbers of all hotels in Penang without having to pay extra to the brokers, etc. These are things we hope to achieve, and to give back to the Malaysian community.

The information will be free for anyone to access, and by making it a wiki-based site, just about anyone can go in and add or edit the entries.

You are invited to join the big community! You may go there and get anything you want, or you may decide to contribute to a project that is for everyone, by everyone.

---

I think this is a very good idea. It is something like an Online Yellow Pages where you can find anything about Malaysia. And if anyone wants to contribute info about a certain item, they can just register and add/edit contents. Best of all, it is free!

Come everyone, lets support this noble idea and create an Online Public Directory where people can access to information about anything and everything in Malaysia! Contribute now and you and everyone stand to gain the benefits from this project!

Grey's Anatomy

ABC's latest TV series about Surgical doctor's hits the US tv series scene with a bang! It is call Grey's Anatomy.

---

Meet Meredith Grey. She's a woman trying to lead a real life while doing a job that makes having a real life impossible.

Meredith is a first year surgical intern at Seattle Grace Hospital, the toughest surgical residency program west of Harvard. She and fellow first-year interns Cristina Yang, Izzie Stevens, George O'Malley and Alex Karev were students yesterday. Today they're doctors and, in a world where on the job training can be a matter of life and death, they're all juggling the ups and downs of their own personal lives.

---

Meet Meredith and her friend/fellow interns that she works with!

Dr.Meredith Grey

Dr.Christina Yang

Dr.Isobel "Izzie" Stevens

Dr.George O'Malley

Dr.Alex Karev

And the surgical doctor's that "torture" their interns!

Dr.Miranda "The Nazi" Bailey (note: she is nicknamed "The Nazi" because she is a freaking hell surgical supervisor that give hell to her interns!)

Dr.Preston Burke the freaking idiot that thinks he is No.1 in that hospital!

Dr. Derek Shepherd.......he is/was sleeping with Dr. Meredith Grey. ;)

So, are you thinking being a doctor is easy now?

What I take with me when I go out....

When I got out of the house, I have the usual things that I always take with me. Here is the list of things that I will always take along :

1. Wallet (this one is always number one because IC is important)
2. House key
3. Swiss Army Knife (keychained to room key)
4. Room key (keychained to Swiss Army Knife)
5. Handphone

So, that's the 5 things that I always take along when I go out. (And yes, I know that taking a Swiss Army Knife around is something in-between illegal and dangerous, but as long as I am careful, I have no problems so far.)

What do you all think?

My blog has lots of links?

Wingz from ROJAK DAILY asked me why I have so many links on my blog?

Well, I didn't realized I really have an insane amount of links on my blog until he told me that. Come to think about it, I was linking bloggers and websites that I like to my blog every now and then. Now, seeing that I have like almost 100+ links to my blog, it is getting messy (according to Wingz lar).

So, is my blog having "link too many" problem?

Gmail and how it totally wiped the competition away!!

April Fool's Day 2004, Google launched Gmail (beta stage). The plan was to give 1GB email storage space to it's users. Since it was April Fool's day, some people think it is a Google joke! But as the day goes by, slowly the internet community realized that this ain't no joke. In fact, Gmail has been born!

April Fool's Day 2005, Gmail again did something that everyone though was a April Fool's joke. Gmail says that is will increased it Gmail user's storage space to 2GB (2075MB to be exact)! Almost everyone was convinced that this time it IS a Google joke, but as it turns out, it is REAL once again. For the second time, Google has awe the internet community with it's 2GB Gmail upgrade to all it's user!

Is there no stopping the Google juggernaut?
Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail has been left way behind in the race to provide more email storage to it's users.

Here's a thought. Is 2GB of email storage necessary anyway? You tell me.

Point Pleasant.....errrm.....wait.....Point (un)Pleasant

It's official! After only showing 8 episodes of this new series, Point Pleasant has been cancelled by FOX network.

This is the second time FOX cancelled a good series. Previously, FOX had cancelled Dark Angel for a total flop series Firefly. Now, they trash Tru Calling for Point Pleasant (although Point Pleasant is actually good as compared to Firefly!).
In the end, it's all about the ratings!

I just hate FOX network. They never did anything right to some of their series!
