Cold Case

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

COLD CASE stars Kathryn Morris as Det.Lilly Rush, the lone female detective in the Philadelphia homicide squad who finds her calling when she's assigned to "cold cases" -- crimes that have never been solved.

Previously, she used her instinctive understanding of the criminal mind on current murders. Now, she's interrogating witnesses whose lives and circumstances have since changed, making use of today's new science and finding fresh clues to solve cases that were previously unsolvable, all of which appeals to this smart, driven detective.
She's also prepared for the consequences: that her work will open up old wounds and may lead suspects to commit new crimes.

When she hits a dead-end, Lilly seeks advice from her respected mentor, Lt. John Stillman (John Finn). Also on the team are Det. Scotty Valens (Danny Pino), Rush's confident and strong-willed partner, Det. Will Jeffries (Thom Barry), who's been around long enough to serve as Lilly's link to the past; and Det. Nick Vera (Jeremy Ratchford), a tough cop who's considered the go-to guy for getting a confession. Lilly makes it her business to ensure that no victim is ever forgotten.

A Picture Is Worth A Million Words.

Few months back, I shifted my blog's objective from "Everything Under The Sun" to "Everything About TV Series/Japanese Dramas and Animes". Apparently it was the right decision to take. For me a least. However, the downside of that, I don't have much things to talk about that other people hasn't already talk about about the TV series, Japanese Dramas and Animes since I rely on downloading to get the latest TV series from the US, the UK, and Jdramas and Animes from Japan. So, I get the latest, but still late by a few days. By that time, all the TV Fanatics would have ran out of things to say. So, I decided to start a segment call "ScreenShots Reviews". It's technically not a review since all the posts is just screenshots, but because I like the name I just put "ScreenShots Reviews".

Now, why I choose this path? Well, because whole my life, I am not good at words and explaination and stuff. In order to prove a point, I do it or show a picture or even draw a picture. I find out it is easier to show a picture/diagram/graph/....etc than explaining. Visual teaching is what I learned from teaching my non-geek friends about computers and stuff. Explaining ain't my strong point, so I teach them visually with the aid of the computer and pictures.

That's why I started "ScreenShots Reviews". It is to show those who haven't watched a particular series about the series visually, without downloading it or read about it. Afterall, the old people like to say "A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words". As for me, I think it is worth more than a Thousand. It's worth at least a Million words. :)

I leave you all with the Straw Hat Pirate crew from One Piece

Ghost Whisperer - How they (will or going to) screw up the storyline!!

Watch out! Melinda is getting a nemesis!! Or at least going to have one.

Damn. and I thought this show is different. Apparently I was DEAD wrong. This series looks like turning out to be any other stereotype storyline thingy.(Note: I call this "Scriptwriting 101").

After that laughing (supposely evil) ghost guy appear in the latest episode, this just blows, really.

So, I definately won't feel sorry if this series don't get renewed or get cancelled at the end of the season or two.

Then again, some might argue that even in ghost world, there are good ghost and bad ghost and evil ghost.

Still, I though this isn't about crime fighting like Medium or something like that.

Although long story arc might be a good idea as to not turn the series into "Crossover-The-Ghost-Of-The-Week" thingy to get bored, I feel there is a better way to do it than introduce a nemesis.

That laughing "evil" ghost just don't felt right for this series. but hey, I am willing to give it a try with lots of prejudice though.

Ghost Whisperer ain't getting the 6 stars at my rating blog that I planned to rate it.

And for the record, I already got fed up with "Scriptwriting 101" storylines. Originality gives me orgasm's while the dreaded "Scriptwriting 101" storylines (aka Stereotype) make me need to take TViagra.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Melinda Gordon is a young newlywed with the unique ability to communicate with the earthbound spirits of people who have died (She is a Ghost Whisperer) -- and who seek her help. Melinda uses her gift to relay significant messages and important information to the living, but sometimes the messages she receives are intense and confusing. As a result, she is often met with questions and skepticism by the survivors. But when Melinda is able to help both the lost souls who contact her and those who are still alive, she knows that her unique talent is an asset and not a liability.

Some time off.

I was sick. And I took it as a hiatus. I think I will take another 2 weeks before blogging again.
