Maxis and I

I have been using Maxis (012) for 4 maybe 5 years already. The service is either getting bad or worst. But I still like to use Maxis. No reason why. Anyway, I just upgraded to it's limited edition 256k SIM card for a staggering RM65. What do I get? 1000 slots for phonenumbers and 100 slots for SMSs and some other feature that I probably won't use. Is it worth the RM65 to get 750 more slots for phonenumbers and 75 more slots for SMSs?

I think Maxis is just trying to overcome Celcom's 128k SIM card upgrade promo, but know that giving out 256k SIM cards is very expensive promo, so it will try to make it as expensive as possible to get the 256k SIM card to gauge the reaction of it's clients. If the reaction is good, they will roll out the 256k's to the rest of the 012's and 017's fraternity.

Now I need to figure out why I even need 750 more slots for phonenumbers. 75 slots for SMSs isn't really enough for me. :)

Hex - Just another Buffy?

Now here's a refreshing change: a sharp, supernatural drama about teens coming of age made this side (UK) of the Atlantic. But while Hex's basic premise - it's the tale of a slightly awkward but beautiful teenage girl discovering she has special powers - may make it sound like Britain's answer to Buffy, put that notion out of your mind. This is much darker (and sexier), designed to crank up the suspense until you're primed to jump out of your seat.

Source : TvTome.com

This is a new series that I just found out. It is call Hex. Still downloading and haven't watched it yet and no story written yet at Tvtome.com : Hex, but the prospect of another Buffy-LIKE series is just too good a temptation for me to miss it.

I can't do it anymore!........

I can't do it anymore, just can't. I can't pretend that I am "kewl" with everything. NO, everything is not all right!
I can't stand why most people keep on ignoring me, like I am just not there. Like my comments/opinions aren't worth anything to most people. Like me boycotting Spiderman and Spiderman 2 the movie is a "one man insane crusade or something".
Why I am saying that? Here's the multiple/several reasons why!
1. Almost everyone DON'T listen to me.
2. Almost everyone DON'T listen to me.
3. Almost everyone DON'T LISTEN TO ME!
4. (do I have to repeat 1,2,3?)
....

And NO, it's not like "Hey, people don't listen to you because your opinions/comments/suggestion/views are illogical or something like that."
NO, NO AND NO!!! IT'S NOT LIKE THAT!
Most people don't listen to me before I even open my mouth to say anything! It is always like they don't want me to talk a single word even before I even have the chance to talk!. It's all the same treatment from most of my friends, to my family to almost everyone out there. Want an example? "Sure, whatever freak!" Screw you moron!. Like in a forum, my replies/posts/opinions/views/creative thingy usually get by-passed by almost everyone. No one even care to read or even care to reply. I have to ask at least twice before even getting someone to answer. "Hey, dude, other people have life's you know!" Screw you arseho, I have a life too and I understand that. Let me finish ok? "Whatever, dorkhead". Idiot. Anyway, my posts will be left unanswered for days. Don't tell me that (for example)1000 people browsing the forum, all of them somehow "missed" my posts? "Duh". Shut up!.
It's been like that in my real life, and in my virtual life, it's still just the same. Most of the time, I can't even say a single word. Even if I say it, most people just don't really care. No replies, no answers, no nothing. Just the same in real life or in virtual life. I am just a stone on the street, just lying there.Only some people care and I am very glad at least some people care.

"If IE isn't broken, why fix it?".....you have GOT to be kidding me!

Oh wait, I am a firefox fanatic, my views are biased. So, this entry is basically something like "IE is crap, Firefox is good" is it?
NO.

This is about the two entries below this entry.
"If it ain't broken, don't fix it" ......you know, this phrase is TOTAL CRAP

"If it ain't broken, don't fix it" ......you know, this phrase is TOTAL CRAP (II)

Fact that is a very open fact that people just don't want to admit it. "IE is full of holes". Is that a bad thing? To some people, yes, to some people no. To me, I don't care actually. Not as if my computer is full of secrets, since I am only a normal person, living in a normal way. And I meet up with people that subscribes to the "If it ain't broken, don't fix it" policy, and it is NOT about "oh, now I get it, you fail to convert them to Firefoxes, so you are now slandering them over the net.". Oh, give me a break. I just say I hate them, and despise them and wish they rot in hell...blah,blah,blah. And I am just trying to blurt out my feelings towards these type of things. These type of things ain't right in my book. "HA, there you go, that's your problem, not us!". Really? Oh, and using an ancient old forum software is not going to be a problem when you can get something better for the price you are paying?. "Works for me, what do you care?". I pretended not to care, but I just can't. This isn't the old internet anymore. It is the NEW one. GAWD dA M IT! Wake up people! This isn't the Stone Age anymore. Time to get of that arse and do something to improve yourselfs and not stay in the past. I never let the past get in my way, and I think people should do too!
Can't teach an old dog new tricks? ...that's bull......shit.......It's the new dog that needs to learn new tricks, not the old one.

Don't understand what I am talking about? Well, if you know what I mean, you will know what I mean.

Note : All opinions are mine. Have a problem with that, you know where to find me.

"If it ain't broken, don't fix it" ......you know, this phrase is TOTAL CRAP (II)

Just to add, I not only hate these kind of people that believes in "If it ain't broken, don't fix it" thingy, I also despise them.

Call me anything you want, I don't care. I just hate and despise people who believes in "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" thingy.

Friday, October 15, 2004

"If it ain't broken, don't fix it" ......you know, this phrase is TOTAL CRAP.

I have often listen/read about people saying "If it ain't broken, don't fix it" phrase. And I even know some people out there in real life and in the web that always follow that phrase right down to the letter. You know, I HATE these kind of people. They are the ones that thinks "if everything is all right, why fix it?". OH GAWD, please wake up. It is not about fixing things, it is about IMPROVEMENTS. It is about NEW FEATURES. It is about trying out NEW THINGS. Nothing is perfect, but things can improve to either nearly perfect or just better than it usually does.

And yeah, I know. Improvements doesn't means it is good. I agree. But without improvements? Is that good too?

And the cracks begins....

Episode 4 of Season 5 of Gilmore Girls puts up more questions than answers.

Rory and Dean are together again. DUH.

Lolerai and Luke are showing signs of "cracks in a relationship". (I TOLD YOU SO!)

And something about Rory and Dean that I just can't quite figure it out yet. Is Rory back with Dean because she wants to have sex with him? or it is the other way around? Couldn't quite figure that out.

Well, nothing more to talk about this episode except that Lane told Zack she likes him. And I think a little of all hell breaks loose(I think).

Anyway, 2 more episodes to that pregnant episode and I can't wait to know who is pregnant.

Gundam here, Gundam there, Gundam everywhere....

Ok, maybe there isn't Gundam everywhere. Not in Malaysian TV. Although there are shops with models of Gundam throughout Malaysia.

Anyway, I was wondering why Malaysia won't show Gundam on TV. Well, being a Gundam Fanatic I am, I can tell you why. Most of the Gundam TV series are NOT FOR CHILDREN AGE 17 and below. Most of the Gundam TV series have to be rated 18SG and also censored by the notorious Censorship Board from Hell of Malaysia. So, since censoring will make the storyline skipped too much, you won't see Gundam in Malaysian TV anytime soon. However, you can still buy them at the "pirate" VCD/DVD shops that also sells animes. Or if you have broadband and have a hueg harddisk space, then go download them.

Frankly, I don't know why Gundams have a hueg impact on people in Japan and now in the USA, but it is certainly the Gundam mecha's themselves that is the attraction followed by the characters and the storylines.

As for me, I just like the mechas. My favourite are all the main Gundams for each series (almost anyways).
ν Gundam ( "ν" pronounced as "nu") - pilot by the Legendary Amuro Ray
Zeta Gundam - pilot by Kamille Bidan
Gundam Double Zeta - pilot by Judau Ashta
V2 Gundam - pilot by Uso Evin
Wing Gundam Zero - pilot by Heero Yuy
DX Gundam Double X - pilot by Garrod Ran
∀ Gundam ( "∀" pronounced as "Turn A") - pilot by Loran Cehack aka Laura Rolla (And yes, he is a cross dresser for a reason). ;)

Haven't seen Gundam Seed yet, so not sure about the Freedom Gundam - pilot by Kira Yamato

Actually, I just like the Gundams, the storylines are not of interests.

Best weapon I like is Twin Satellite Canons on the DX Gundam Double X. (Pity it only works if Tiffa Adill is there with Garrod and there is a fullmoon)

Second best weapon I like is Wing Gundam Zero Buster Rifle.

ν Gundam fin funnels are third best.

By the way, you can get to play all these by playing the PS1 game of Super Robot Wars Alpha and Alpha Gaiden. In fact, you can play most of the Gundams in any Robot Wars series game. ;)

Heroes don't die, they fade away........

I am really deeply saddened by the death of a true Hero, Christopher "Superman" Reeves. Even though he was paralyzed from the neck down because he fell down from a horse, he never gave up. He never gave up! He was fighting to get back up. He was and still is an inspiration to handicapped people. He showed the world that people with handicap can still make a differences. He is the "True Superhero". He truly deserve the title of "Man of Steel".

May you rest in peace Superman. You will always be my Hero!

"So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable. If we can conquer outer space, we can conquer inner space, too."

Grissom! There is something wrong with Sara.

Last season of CSI, we see Sara getting into trouble. DUI (Driving Under Influence)(Alcohol of course!).

This season started off with on a good note, but episode 2 is showing some bad "feeling" at what is going to happen to Sara.

Yup, it's speculation time again. I am speculating that Sara is going to get into trouble or cause Grissom some trouble. Or she is going to turn bad or something. Ok, maybe turning bad is a bit far-fetch, but the possibility is there. Why am I speculating that? Well, maybe because it is a couple of scene at the end of episode two that is very disturbing. It shows Sara watching some family videos (evidence from the case that they are investigating). And from Sara's face expression, it looks as if the videos unlocked some "old memories". And we all know "old memories" are sometime very dangerous!

Earlier in the episode, Sara told Grissom that she does not have a drinking problem. Grissom replied saying he is a concerned. Concerned about what wasn't really clear. From my point of view, Grissom wasn't concern about Sara's drinking problem, it was something else.

Well, let's hope this speculative scenario about Sara doesn't really happen. It would be very bad if it does. I am crossing my finger that the spark between Warrick and Cat gets more attention than Sara's problem. ;) (hmmm, that doesn't make any sense anyway).... ;)

Grissom! We REALLY have a problem.

It's just episode 2 of Season 5 of CSI and a very disturbing scene was shown at the end of episode 2.

It's Sara. Call it a storyline feeling or something, but I do think before or near the end of this season, we are going to see Sara getting or making trouble for Grissom.

Why? Well, she looks like she got some "old memories" unlock when looking at some family videos(it was evidence from a case they are investigating). And from my point of view, the only conclusion I can give is : Grissom! We have a problem.

What if God was one of us?

What if God was one of us?

If God had a name, what would it be
And would you call it to His face
If you were faced with Him in all His glory
What would you ask if you had just one question
Yeah, yeah, God is great
Yeah, yeah, God is good
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

What if God was one of us
Just a stranger on the bus, trying to make his way home.

If God had a face, what would it look like
And would you want to see

Yeah, yeah, God is great
Yeah, yeah, God is good
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Lyrics from the song "One of Us" by Joan Osborne.

Luke + Lolerai = The Whole Stars Hollow Can't handle them!

Ok, actually it was the town mayor that can't handle their relationship. Taylor is/was/trying or whatever he was doing to try to discourage Luke and Lolerai getting together in a town hall meeting. In the end, Luke stood up and blast everyone and Taylor finally had to shut up. This is episode 3 of Season 5 of Gilmore Girls.

Lolerai's parents Emily and Richard Gilmore are separated.....by the pool...as Lolerai said it in episode 1. How is that? Well, Emily is living in the main house while Richard is living in the pool house. So, they are only "SEPARATED" by the swimming pool! What a joke it was.

Well, now the speculative section from me. Rory and Dean is coming or going? We know Rory had sex with Dean twice already. In this episode 3, Rory went to find Dean. No price for guessing what they are going to do again.

And the "scary" part is, I got hold of the title for episode 6 which is -> Norman Mailer, I am pregnant.

Ok, LET'S START SPECULATING! What is the meaning of that title? Does it mean Rory is going to find out she is pregnant?
OR
It is just Dean's wife Lindsay that is pregnant?
OR
It is just a title that the producer's put out so that the fans will get excited about this season? marketing strategy?

My speculation is.......(most likely to happen)
Rory or Lindsay will be pregnant.

my second speculation is....(highly unlikely to happen)
Lolerai getting pregnant.

Well, there is 3 more episodes to go before we will know what does the title for Episode 6 means. So, until then, Happy Speculating! :)

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ABOVE ARE ALL SPECULATIVE AND DOESN"T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE REAL STORYLINE OF THE SHOW.

CSI : New York vs Kevin Hill

CSI : New York didn't disappoint me this time. Season 1 Episode 2 was better...WAY better than episode 1. It wasn't blurry and it was neat and complete!

However, new series Kevin Hill stole the show for me. It's another lawyer's series, and it's good. :)

Still, CSI:New York was over hype. I rather watch CSI or CSI Miami. I just don't like the dark atmosphere of New York city.(No offense). 70% of the time, CSI : New York looks like a black and white tv series from the yester-years. How gloomy is New York actually after 9/11? If that's the case(as portrait by CSI:New York), I did say screw the terrorists. I hope they burn in hell for what they did on 9/11.

Kevin Hill stars Taye Diggs ("Chicago") as a 28-year-old, self-made, hotshot entertainment lawyer in New York City with the ultimate bachelor life -- a high-power job, plenty of pretty ladies and enough money to buy whatever he wants. Through all of his exploits, he is joined by his two buddies, the charming and witty Dame (Jon Seda, "Bad Boys II"). But, Kevin's whole life turns upside down when he's left to raise the six-month-old daughter of his cousin, who unexpectedly passed away.

Believe me, Kevin Hill is one good new series. Just hope it will go on to beat the crap out of The Practice (oh yeah, I forgot, The Practice ended.)

Well, looks like there is life after the Buffy/Angel Era. And it looks great too. :)

Smackdown! in Stars Hollow.

Season 5, episode 2 of Gilmore Girls was almost a free for all. Almost anyways. The only person that got the smackdown-ed was Dean. Rory just wanted to tell him that is was all over in a letter as she was still in Europe. And the expected happened. Dean's wife Lindsay had to "accidentally" found the letter. And what a "trashing" Lindsay gave Dean in front of almost the whole town of Stars Hollow.

And it was a face off in town square with Rory's mom and Lindsay's mom. No cat-fights thought. ;)

Luke meanwhile was stuck seven weeks with his sister. He was there helping out her sister and her husband. They had an accident earlier, and need Luke's help to take care of their booth in a fair.

Lolerai wasn't even a bit angry that Luke was away for seven weeks. Guess these two really are going to be a good couple........(if only I could believe that)(as I have said earlier, relationships in a tv series rarely never get as far as happily ever after)(this must be a concept of script writing in Script-writing 101 or outdated rules of script writing).

Anyway, WWE Smackdown! in Gilmore Girls anyone? (literally).
Match results:
Lindsay beat Dean in a "kick him out of the house".

Lolerai and Lindsay's mom ended in a "You and your daugther can go to hell" stalemate. Or I think it was a stalemate.

Dean and Rory face off with a "....." (actually, this match is still on going, probably gonna happen again in the next episode.

There you go, WWE Gilmore Girls......literally........speaking......

Suddenly....it all changed.....

I used to watch US TV series, but when my favourite Charmed got a storyline "disaster" at the hands of some new writers, I look "East" for some other TV series. And out come TVB to the rescue. Or so I think. It turn out TVB series (most of them, not all) have even worst writers than their American counterparts. What I hate is the endings for a majority of TVB's tv series. A majority of them leaves you "hanging" in the air or simply you can say the endings makes you "guess" what will happen next. It is not really an ending. Everytime I watch a TVB tv series, and when the ending is a cliffhanger, I will be ranting and raving about it. Why can't they just end it like "Happily ever after" or end it like "The hero dies saving the world" or something like that?

So, I told myself that if I managed to get my scripts to TVB, I would insist on a proper ending instead of "end it so that we can make a sequel" endings. Geez, don't need to "cliffhangered" an ending just because there is a potential for a sequel. They must be afraid that they can't make any continuity if they end if properly. Bullshit!

I could write an ending and write a sequel to that ending without "cliffhangering" it. Doubt me? Well, not that I care anyway. I am currently planning a series to be sent to TVB. Just hope that everything "DOES" change.......I would personally fly to Hong Kong if they even consider to just "read" my story.

Frankly, you might think it is impossible. Well, I always believe I am a "better" writer than anyone else. Even if I am not that good, I will strive to improve. I can "lose" a thousand times, but doesn't mean that I will "lose" forever. :)

One day, it all will changed........and that's when you will see my own TV series "To Love A Thief".....

Retro - Got myself "Bewitched!"

Was watching season 1 of Bewitched, which is in black and white. And have to admit, for an ancient tv series, it is really good. Or probably was the late Elizabeth Montgomery that got me "charmed". :)

Whichever the case, it was a case of retro TV vs CSI for me during the weekends. And CSI: New York got both my thumbs down. Grissom and gang saved it for CSI when I watched the first episode of Season 5 and it was way better than CSI:New York. :)

However, Bewitched stole the show and although it was black and white, I was really impressed with it's comedic storyline! Hooray for retro tv series. :) Now I can't wait for episode 4 of Bewitched!

And hooray for me, because Gilmore Girls will be showing episode 2!!!! And I am eagerly waiting for more Luke and Lolerai!!! :) WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!

CSI : New York........Worst CSI for the moment.

After watching CSI:New York last night, I was very disappointed with it. The storyline was a bit blurry and how the case was solved was a bit blurry too. Overall, it was blurry.
Maybe it is the atmosphere of New York city that is the problem. New York city looks like a grey out city that looks gloomy and eerie. No offence, but compare to CSI and CSI Miami, CSI New York really is very gloomy atmosphere!
Lets hope the second episode and the remaining episode does better than this first ever episode of CSI New York.

Season 5 Episode 1, Gilmore Girls YET AGAIN!

This is the season of Gilmore Girls that I was wishing for. Lolerai and Luke finally trying to get together! If you are a Gilmore Girls's fan like me, then you can imagine how happy and excited I am about this. Tell you all the truth, I have been waiting season after season for this to happen. And finally after waiting for 4 seasons, I finally got my long awaited wish to see Lolerai and Luke FINALLY getting together!

I am SOOOOO HAPPY!!!!.....IT FINALLY HAPPENED!!!!!

Ok, ok. Fine, fine. I know I am just repeating myself over and over again. I know you heard me the first time, but I don't care! I want the WORLD to know that I am very happy!. (Although I might be sad later in the season when the relationship turn sour)(in a TV series, there is NEVER a stable relationship if you are a TV series fan.)

So, I am now savioring this moment before all hell breaks loose.
Honestly, I hope all hell doesn't break loose, because this is the perfect storyline to an almost perfect series!

I will be praying for a miracle that this is going to be eventually a happily ever after....although deep down I understand that happily ever after will never happen in a TV series.(some do, but not really happily ever after).

So, here I go again! LOLERAI AND LUKE ARE FINALLY GETTING TOGETHER!
WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!

Gen2-erally very bad.

Just how badly do you want a brand-new car? What are you prepared to sacrifice to ensure brand-spanking newness; that untouched, gleaming, never-been-driven feeling?

If you want a new car desperately – make that pathologically desperately – we would still struggle to recommend a Gen2, Proton’s new Wira replacement. It’s that disappointing.

It has its good points, so let’s get those out of the way first. It won’t take long. And if you happen to be hell-bent on buying a brand-new car and a nearly new Focus won’t do, these are the only points you’ll remember anyway.

It’s good value, at least for interior kit. The 1.6 GLS model you see here comes with air conditioning and a Blaupunkt sound system with a 10-disc CD changer, and retails at £9595. It has dual airbags as standard, but no electric mirrors. You’ll need to opt for the £10,595 GSX to get those; that version also comes with standard side airbags and anti-lock brakes. So you don’t get anti-lock on lower models, which seems a glaring oversight in 2004.

Compare the price with those of its similarly specced rivals and the Gen2 GLS is good value. Rover 25 1.6 SEi: £12,795. Ford Focus 1.6 LX: £13,300. Honda Civic 1.6 SE: £13,013. Vauxhall Astra 1.6 16v Life: £12,495. The Proton undercuts them all effortlessly.

It looks good, too. Styled with help from Proton-owned Lotus, it’s a well-proportioned, well-detailed car and is a pleasure to view from every angle. The nose is neat, with none of the grille paraphernalia that sometimes blights new cars from the Far East, and the rear lights are equally handsome. The dash is well designed, too, with a stylish Lotus-esque centre console, nicely integrated stereo and a neat instrument cowling.

The car rides and handles satisfactorily, with no obvious vices as long as you don’t expect Elise-like fun. The cheap Sime tyres lose grip very early in the proceedings as the car howls toward the verge with terminal understeer. The ride jiggles a little too much on washboard ripples, but is otherwise comfortable, with decent damping. The gearchange is quick and direct, and is the best of the controls.

However, the driving position is so awkward it borders on the bizarre. You sit far too high, with no way to lower the seat other than a tight knob which only lowers the front edge of the cushion. And the steering wheel – a hard black plastic affair with all the tactile delicacy of a granite slab – won’t rise high enough, leaving itself on your lap, between your knees. Tall drivers willl find the top of the instruments are obscured by the top of the wheel, which is unforgivable in a 21st-century car.

The problems don’t end there. The build quality inside is nasty, even for a car at this price. The plastic single-piece door trims, the centre bin with its flimsy hinges, the dastardly little swivelling cup holder and the switches and plastics are all so low-rent that they’re almost squatting. Combine that with a noisy cabin and you have a distinctly ordinary motoring experience, even for the money.

The 110bhp ‘Cam Pro’ 1.6 has adequate power and torque, but all the thrust is delivered at the top end, where it becomes extremely thrashy and makes you reach for ear defenders. It has the aural delight of a toilet extractor fan – the loudest one you’ve ever heard. This is a very poorly insulated engine.

The Gen2 very nearly became Rover’s next medium car. Good job for Rover that deal never happened.

Bill Thomas - Autocar Online road test

My own opinion on the Gen2?
I have only one word to say about it : SUCKS.

FINALLY........FINALLY!!!!!!! IT'S THE SEASON TO BE A GILMORE!

After 4 seasons of waiting, FINALLY at the end of season 4, the scene that I have been waiting FINALLY happen.
Don't be mistaken. It is not Rory and Dean having sex. Heck no. That was an expected scene.
The scene that I wasn't expecting was that.........(drum roll).........

LOLERAI AND LUKE FINALLY GOT TOGETHER IN THIS LATEST SEASON OF GILMORE GIRLS!!!!

WOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!

Why am I so excited? Well, for 4 season(minus the last episode of Season 4), I was like jumping up and down, ranting and raving about "Chicken" Luke and "Coward" Lolerai. Each know they are meant for each other one way or another. And day by day they just well...did nothing. Last season(season 4) finale, "Chicken" Luke and "Coward" Lolerai is no more. THEY ARE FINALLY TOGETHER!!!!!
And it was the moment that I have been waiting for. It was apparent from Season 1 that Luke and Lolerai should be together! And it DID happen. Sadly,it happened only after 4 season of ranting, raving and yelling like a mad person.
Well, it's a great start. But what will be the ending for this relationship?
Since there is a history of breaking up relationships in any TV series. I will be "very" pessimistic here and assume the worst case scenario in this Luke and Lolerai season. Worst case will be the obvious that they will not get together.

I HOPE THE WORST CASE WON'T HAPPEN! Anyway, let me savior this moment, for I am very happy and excited about this season of Gilmore Girls. The fairytale story finally happened. Now all we need is a happily ever after........But alas only if that was true. In this real world, there is NEVER a happily ever after.....
Let's hope a miracle will happen and there is finally a happily ever after!

Note:I have a habbit of misspellinng Lolerai's name. The real spelling is Lorelai and not Lolerai. But I don't care. I like the to use the name Lolerai.

It's not easy being me....

Superman by Five for Fighting

I can't stand to fly
I'm not that naive
I'm just out to find
The better part of me

I'm more than a bird.I'm more than a plane
More than some pretty face beside a train
It's not easy to be me

Wish that I could cry
Fall upon my knees
Find a way to lie
About a home I'll never see

It may sound absurd.but don't be naive
Even Heroes have the right to bleed
I may be disturbed.but won't you concede
Even Heroes have the right to dream
It's not easy to be me

Up, up and away.away from me
It's all right. You can all sleep sound tonight
I'm not crazy.or anything.

I can't stand to fly
I'm not that naive
Men weren't meant to ride
With clouds between their knees

I'm only a man in a silly red sheet
Digging for kryptonite on this one way street
Only a man in a funny red sheet
Looking for special things inside of me

It's not easy to be me.

This song make me realize that eventhough everyone around me tends to misunderstood me, I also must understand that it is not easy trying to understand someone. To understand someone, you need to look for special things inside of that someone. Definately not easy being me or you or anyone else even. :)

TVB series : Endings

TVB is Hong Kong largest television series production company. It has produced lots of TV series that has captured chinese audiences around the world. I am one of them.

BUT....
some of their series endings are rather forgotten than memorable. Why am I saying that? Well, let me tell you why.

In the series "Square Pegs (戇夫成龍)", it was a great series that was spoiled by the ending. If the ending was anything else, I don't mind, but it was downright weird to end it without leaving any clue to the viewers. I know I was clueless at the end. Maybe some people might argue it is a good ending. I highly disagree. I think people should watch the series, but don't watch the ending as it might spoil the overall "feel" toward the series.

While in the latest TVB series "To Catch the Uncatchable (棟篤神探)", this was suppose to be a comedy series with some serious detective work, but most of the time, it is very humour and very funny. True to TVB's notorious reputation of screwing up in the ending, the last episode I rather forget than remember it. It was downright tragic at the end. Imagine that. A comedy series from the start ending in tragic circumtances. When I was watching the last episode, I was shocked beyond words. I can't imagine how tragic the ending is. I wanted to cry but just can't. It was too shocking for me to even accept that as the ending. It took me quite a while to get back to my senses.

People might believe that there is nothing wrong with the ending, but as a writer myself, I believe it is very much downright freaking wrong. Think about it. The series was funny and full of comedy(most of the time) from start till almost the end. Ending it tragically, does that mean this is not a comedy series but a tragic series? or the other way around? If you want a tragic series, start it tragically and end it tragically. I have no complains about that. Just like the series "Blade Heart (血薦軒轅)". Blade Heart is a very tragic series from the start to the end. Although I didn't finish watching it, I commended it for being true to the storyline. Ending it tragically is as good as ending it non-tragically. Probably that doesn't make any sense to anyone, but think about it. A tragic start then a tragic end is better than a comedic start then a tragic end.

However, some of the TVB series have some good endings. Series like Triumph In the Skies(衝上云霄) and "The White Flame (紅衣手記) have suitable endings to suit the storyline. Some people might argue that not all ending must be good. Not everything will turn out right in the end. I will agree with them. But they also must remember that the TV is for entertainment purpose. People watch TV to relax and calm the mind. If everything must be "more real life", then I suggest watching the NEWS. Any NEWS nowadays are full of tragic deaths and destruction. Is that tragic enough? If not, go find some 9/11 footage and watch it. Then tell if that is tragic enough?

As for me, I watch tv because I want to get entertained. If I want to watch tragicness, I will turn on the NEWS, and the "real-life" violents is much more real and heart breaking. Why do people need to watch more tragic on TV? Haven't they seen enough in the NEWS? Tell me?

Malaysian Sport's Big Fat Greek Tragedy (Final)

Malaysian Sport's final hope rest in the hand of the Cabinet Committee that is been formed to check the rot in Malaysian Sport!

Well, lets hope NST sports editor Lazarus Rokk in his Counterpoint column is right in saying that this is the last hope for Malaysian Sports. Guess we will have to wait and see if that is true.

Frankly, I still don't think anything positive is going to come out 5 to 10 years down the line. As long as they don't revamp the Malaysian Educational System, Malaysian is never going to wake up from this nightmare.

Another aspect that should be look into is the attitude of the Malaysian people. A majority of them only wants to earn money. Anything that can earn them money, they will do it. Only a few sports in Malaysia can earn you big money. Namely soccer and badminton. Irony is, the Malaysian Super League (MSL) still lacks behind their European counterpart the English Premier League(EPL) in terms of quality and performance. Ok, lets not talk about EPL, lets talk about the Japanese soccer league(J-league). Japan only started the J-League several years ago, and the Japanese team is now one of the top soccer team in Asia. While Malaysia is still down there, somewhere. What went wrong with the Malaysian Soccer scene and what went right with the Japanese?

One thing I know is the Japanese fight for Emperor and country. While Malaysian fight for money and fame. That's the real fact in Malaysia that people just don't want to admit it. They just want to save face.

I am no expert in sports. I am just a normal person looking at what is really happening in the Malaysian Sport scene. The fact is like that. But most people choose to ignore it and give out tons of excuses and play the blame game when the going gets rough. This has been happening for years, and nothing was done.

And from the looks of it, the same cycle is going to happen. Unless the Cabinet Committee "dare" to make major changes. Until and unless some major changes are done, Malaysian Sport WILL never get anywhere other than just continue being "Jaguh Kampung".

This is my final piece on the Malaysian Sport Fraternity.
You can read up on the whole series below. :)

The Eye's, they are the windows to the Soul.....

This is getting boring. I don't even know what to do. Probably have something to do with my health. My eyesight is giving me problems lately and because of that, I am highly UNmotivated to do anything until I get my eyes fix.

In my mind, I have a couple of storyboard ideas just waiting to be written. But my eyesight just keep on getting in the way. Can't see properly and the right eye is seeing double!

Sigh. Going to see an eye specialist next week.

Worst case scenario, I might go blind in the right eye. Oh well, that's fate.

Best case sccenario, probably just over-strained the eye.

Which ever, I suck at taking care of myself. Time to get a girlfriend. (Want to bet that the girl will break up with me in less than one week?)...

Anyway, wished me luck that my eye problem is just a minor problem that is easily fix. :)

Thanks to shadowmist for this wonderful template, I can expand my blog to fit on a 1024x786 resolution monitor screen. Sorry for those using 800x600 resolution. TIME TO UPGRADE to a bigger monitor!!!!

Anyway, although the template has change, it is still the same old Beyond Thoughts Dreams [一個夢]. Only the appearance change and nothing else.

I will still bash the Malaysian Sport's and also the Malaysian Educational System.
I will still talk about TV and Movies and Hong Kong TV drama's and series.

Malaysian Sport's Big Fat Greek Tragedy (VI)

Prime Minister YAB Dato' Seri Abdullah Bin Haji Ahmad Badawi has given the green light to check the rot in Malaysian Sports. Kudos to the Prime Minister.

BUT....
the million dollar question remains....is it a little too late?

Although setting up a Cabinet Committee on Sports is a step in the right direction, I feel it is still a lost cause. They should have take sports into consideration when they draw up the Malaysian Educational System. The damage is already been done. The future of Malaysian Sport is still bleak. Do you really think that in 4 years time we can produce Malaysia's first gold medalist in Beijing at the current state of sports in Malaysia? The first barrier will always be the Educational System of Malaysia. Parents nowadays want their children to study, study and more study. Where is the time for sports and recreation? All student do now is tuition, tuition and more tuition day in day out. The average age of the students of my mother's tuition class is 8 years old. Imagine that at this very young age they have to study like a university student. Three to four tuitions a day?

Malaysia's Educational System is very much exam orientated. And the society(majority of them anyway) judges people by looking at results. Student with 10 A's in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia(SPM) is held up high while those with less are frown upon. Let me tell you about one of my friend. His SPM examination results isn't good. He got like 5 A's and such. Naturally, it wasn't a great result by people's standard. 6 years after that, he is now a Mechanical Engineer working in a multi-national company. However, the sad thing is, he had to sacrifice sports in the process. My friend was a good volley ball player, but he had to drop out for the sake of his future.

So, until and unless someone UP there realise the freaking Malaysian Educational System is flawed, there is no hope for Malaysian Sport for the next 10 or 20 years to come.

What do you think?

I changed my blog title to Beyond Thoughts Dreams [一個夢]

I added Dreams to my blog title.
Why I add Dreams?

From www.dictionary.com the meaning of dreams is

  1. A series of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations occurring involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep.
  2. A daydream; a reverie.
  3. A state of abstraction; a trance.
  4. A wild fancy or hope.
  5. A condition or achievement that is longed for; an aspiration: a dream of owning their own business.
  6. One that is exceptionally gratifying, excellent, or beautiful: Our new car runs like a dream.

The meaning I am looking at is this one.
  1. A wild fancy or hope.
I always dream of doing things that I hope I can do. I always dream of talking what I want to talk and I always dream of doing great things. That is why I added Dreams to my title to go alongside (Beyond Thoughts -> Beyond imagination, beyond thoughts and beyond what I like to do. I could type down countless possibilities and yet not afraid that people would get bored about it. I believe there are people like me out there that like to talk about "possibilities". What is this "possibilities" that I am talking about? To me, I believe that this world is special with countless "possibilities". To other people, I believe the word is call "Fantasy".)

So, join me in Beyond Thoughts Dreams [一個夢] where I talk about everything that I like to talk about. :)

Malaysian Sport's Big Fat Greek Tragedy (V)

Athens 2004 has already ended for over a week or so. And true to the Malaysian Sport Fraternity, the "blame game" is still going on. From the people on the street right up to the ministers. Everyone is pointing their finger at each other. Sigh. When are we going to wake up from this nightmare of sort?

Some people are blaming the schools.
Some people are saying "Don't blame the schools".
Some people are blaming the money.
...etc

If history has anything to go by, they are going to finger point at each other until nearly 2007, then only start to realise "Oh my god, there is one year till the Beijing Olympics! Quickly, lets start start a project squad!".

Come 2008, and it is shades of Athens all over again.
Total medal haul in 2008 : none.

Am I being too pessimistic here? Yes and No.
Yes, because I don't believe in Malaysian Sports anymore.
No, because I still believe there is a last chance only and only if they stop talking and start doing something.

10 things I have to say to those up there on top of the Malaysian Sport Fraternity:

First, they need to REVAMP the Malaysian Educational System.
Second, they need to make Sport as important as academic subjects.
Third, open a couple more sport schools.
Fourth, make sport a priority for those who excel in sports.
Fifth, STOP ALL THOSE FREAKING EXAMS.
Sixth, educate the society that sports and academic are equally important.
Seventh, give credit to sportman/sportwomen that REALLY do well.
Eighth, build more sport facilities. STOP DEMOLISHING THEM. (Example : there used to be a basketball court beside my former school. Not anymore. It had to make way for MORE school buildings! And the freaking irony is, some of the classes AREN'T even half full!)
Ninth, STOP GIVING SO MUCH TO ATHLETES JUST BECAUSE THEY WON A GOLD MEDAL AT THE SEA GAMES!
Tenth, STOP TALKING AND DO SOMETHING.

Don't agree with what I say? Then tell me why you disagree!

CSI isn't dying after all!

CSI isn't going to die afterall!

When news of two main actors got fired from the series, I was like "Ok, this season might be the last season or the beginning of the downfall of CSI." Apparently, the latest news proved me wrong. The two actors got rehired under "weird" circumtances. From what I see, (in my opinion actually), everything is just a publicity stunt.

CSI was under negative light when main actor William Peterson is said to leave somewhere around the next two season (including this one). As everyone might have know, William Peterson who plays Gil Grissom in the series is the main stay for CSI. Without him, and guess what will happen to CSI?

Anyway, now the hype is on this season of CSI. What will it be at the end of this season? That I really want to watch and see if this is the beginning of the end for CSI.

Personally, I hope this isn't the end for CSI yet. CSI is really a good series. I just don't want to see a good series die so fast. CSI is one of those series that managed to captive people around the world with all those forensic knowledge and criminal investigation skills.

So, as I am a huge CSI fan, I hope CSI will continue to be one of the best series on TV.

Malaysian Sport's Big Fat Greek Tragedy (IV)

Just to note. I am talking from a "person on the streets" point of view. I ain't no expert, although I can see for myself what "REALLY" is happening in schools, because both my parents are teachers. And no, I didn't ask my parents about the situation at school, I observe it for myself.

One fact remains. If the current Educational System continues. Come 2008, shades of Athens 2004 is going to come creeping back into the Malaysian contigent.

And the routine finger pointing cycle is going to start all over again.

Seriously, at least English Premier League is better to watch than the crap that is coming out from the Malaysian Sport's fraternity. (And I am someone that hate's Football).

Goes to show Malaysian Sport is probably already six feet under.

Malaysia Boleh? ...........errrrm.......

Really ah?

Malaysian Sport's Big Fat Greek Tragedy! (III)

This is the reason why Malaysian Sports can't get anywhere. Those people who thinks they know better just don't want to admit it that they have fail to instil "Sports" into student's at school levels. And now they are firing back, saying don't blame the schools. Ok, if the schools aren't the problem, what is?

Let take an inside look at the Malaysian Educational System at primary level. The students have to take exams just maybe about 2 months into the semester , and another exam another maybe about 2 months later, then it is the middle of the semester exams. After the mid-semester exams, maybe about 2 months later, there is another exam, then maybe a pre-end semester exam, before having the final semester exam. So, in total students have to prepare for about 6 exams per school semester. If a student is studying 5 subjects, he/she needs to take 6x5 = 30 exam papers (estimated) for the whole schooling semester. The Malaysian Educational System has 6 levels of Primary School: Standard 1 to Standard 6, and 7 levels of Secondary School : Form 1 to Upper Form 6. All in all, exams take up most of the time. Apart from the school exams, there is also the major exams. One at Standard 6, the second one at Form 3, and the third one in Form 5. And if a student choose to continue to Form 6, there is another major exams at the end of Upper Form 6.

Lots of exams right?

Nothing wrong with having exams right? Right.

But that's the problem. The Malaysian Educational System is too result and exam orientated. Students need to do well in exams. So, student would have extra classes, tuition, private tutoring...etc to get good grades at the 3 major exams.

Here is my experiences :
My mother is an english teacher. She also give tuitions. Since my mother likes to talk to her tuition student's parents, I got to heard several SHOCKING stories. Most of the parent's of my mother's tuition pupils go for MULTIPLE tuitions in one day. Some even tuition the same subjects at different tuition teachers.

"Oh my GOD" was my reaction. The whole damn Educational System has came down to "Get the results or rot!"

So, where is the Sports?
You tell me.....

Malaysian Sport's Big Fat Greek Tragedy! (II)

Sigh. Some people just don't get it. Or should I say just don't want to admit it. That WE, Malaysia SUCKS at Sports in an International level. Why?

Let me tell you why. I am going to play the "finger pointing" game, and I point it at the Malaysian Educational System. This is one "successful" but "FLAWED" system. Yes, it is sucessful. Successful in terms of producing "World Class" workaholics. Tell these people to do serious sports, and the first thing they want to know is if the sports can help them earn money?

GO FIGURE.

Come 2008 Beijing, and Malaysia is going to come home empty handed again. Mark my words. Malaysian Sport is going NO WHERE. IF and UNLESS the Malaysian Educational System is change to a more better system than the current one.

In another 10 years from now, Malaysian Sport will be nowhere if they continue to say that the Malaysian Educational System is NO.1 in the world.

The end of the Buffy Era

With the end on Angel season 5, it marks the end of the Buffy era. With that also start the beginning of nothing else to watch on TV anymore, with the exception of the CSI franchise. But recent news also see the beginning of the fall of CSI. What else can we expect from TV nowadays?

Charmed? Don't get me started about this. I have had enough of Charmed.

Ed? This bowling freak lawyer needs to get his priority straight.

CSI? With the possibility of two cast been fired, the lastest season might be the last. Or not.

CSI Miami? I am eagerly waiting for this one. As least there is nothing bad news about the cast.

CSI New York? If that pre-premiered episode via CSI Miami has anything to go by, this is a must watch CSI series.

Alias? I wonder Sydney is whose daughter. (Sue me, I didn't watch the ending of Season 3.) :P

Sitcom series(King of Queens, Yes Dear..etc)? I just don't get the joke in some of it sometimes. I rather watch those series with some serious storylines.

Anyway, I am currently into Hong Kong TV series. At least it gets my emotion pumping with their illogical sometimes emotional storyline. And sometime downright bad endings and makes me want to fly to Hong Kong and blow up TVB City. :)

Malaysian Sport's Big Fat Greek Tragedy!

I watched Athens 2004. I was watching other countries battling it out for Gold, Silver and Bronze. First up was Thailand with a Gold, then Indonesia, then Thailand again. Then it was some medals of other colours for Thailand and Indonesia.

Our ""Fallen"" COUGHheroesCOUGH one by one fell like dominoes in Badminton. Then came the 200M sprint. You did wonder if Nazmizan US training stint was going to make him a world beater. YEAH RIGHT. I saw that Heat he was in. He came in LAST. No where near the national record at all.

Then came the Diving. Ok, this one I have nothing much to complain, since Leong Mun Yee and Gracie Junita Terry Pego was up against Two Times World Champion Guo JingJing of China and up and coming star Wu MinXia of China and Pakhalina Yulia of Russia.

Then it was time to
Taekwondo. And Elaine Teo too fall by "Losing via Superiority" to Guatemala's Carias Euda. It was a match that I was disappointed with Elaine. I agree with all the three judges and the referee of that match to award the win to Carias, because she was indeed the better fighter.

Then Josiah Ng came so close, yet so far in the Keirin competition. Probably not enough experiences on his part, but he was way better than the Badminton team.

The only True Malaysian Hero that I see in Athens is
Byran Nickson Lomas. He was up against World Champion Alexandre Despatie of Canada and Defending Champion Tian Liang of China. That didn't bother him one bit as he powered himself to a respectable 19th position in the 10M Platform diving event.

However, the truth and fact remains. Malaysia simply is not Olympic Quality. Look at Iraq. Iraq is a country torn apart, and yet it's football team powered over Portugal. They went on to the Bronze medal match, losing to eventual winners Italy. Can you imagine Malaysian football team go that far? Yeah right. Try QUALIFYING for the Olympic first.

Some other minor countries that are worst off than Malaysia can win medals, why can't we win at least one? We have "World Class" stadiums and "World Class" Coach, but we can't win a damn thing???

The first reason I could think of is the Malaysian Educational System. It is too exam and result orientated. Let me tell you what happened to my friends during my schooling years. A few of my friends were active at sports. They even went on to represent the state. They were good sportmens and sportwomens, but then it was exam time, and everything went to hell. Then they got into university, sports is no longer on their list. All they care was getting that degree. After getting that degree, they are worried about getting a good job. Now the only sport they do is : English Premier League on TV and at the local Mamak eating place. So, that's how our Educational System was systematically killing sports at school level. And yet, no one wants to admit the Malaysian Educational System is FLAWED. No one. Most people that supported the system was saying that it is a successfull system. I agree. But at what price? Tell me! During my era, english was not so important. So, some of my friends just didn't care to improve on their english. Now, one of my friends who is a mechanical engineer is struggling in his job when it comes to english. He even asked me a few times to correct his english, but in the end, the correction were not corrected. He didn't understand what I have corrected. Suffice to say, his english SUCKS. Now, everyone is trying to learn english. They FINALLY notice that english is an important language. However, in my opinion. It is a little too late. Just like sports. Only now some people are waking up and seeing the truth. Too LATE PEOPLE. You all SHOULD HAVE WOKE UP 10 YEARS AGO.

Now the million dollar question would be : Can Malaysian Sport be save?
The answer is ...................

Listening to a song repeatedly

Here is a challenge! Can you listen to a song (any song, don't care what genre or who is the singer or whatever.) repeatedly for at least 2 or more days?

Well, I have one song that I have been listening non-stop. Even if I am not near my computer, I will just let it play and play and play repeatedly.

Don't ask me why, but I have been listening to the same song for the past one week and still going strong.

/me is listening to Tvb Theme - Summer Heat Theme [#13 @ Tvb Theme] [MP3|155kbps|3:54] [foobar2000 v0.8.3]

Dare to take the challenge?

KLJS Public FTP OPENED!

Finally, I have decided to open my FTP. Currently there is a few MP3's in there, but I will constantly change the content in my Public FTP, because of reasons that I don't need to explain. (Hint : something about MP3's and the legality of it).

Anyway, download while it is still hot. I sometimes will close my FTP for maintainence, so if you experience any problem, just try again later. Or you can check the status of the FTP by coming here. I will put up a status announcement.

Rules for my Public FTP:
1. Download what's is available if you see something of interest. What is available today, might not be available tomorrow. Please DON'T email me requesting that I put it up again. I will NOT accept any request.
2. If you want a private account, these are the criteria you need to fulfill.

  • You need to be at least on my MSN Messenger's list (MSN : kljs@hotmail.com) OR
  • You need to be a member of any forum that I lurk out and at least have 500 posts or above. (I lurk out at SPCNET.tv forum, Xfresh.com forum, Japan-TV forum)
  • Once the above criteria is met, send me an email and ask nicely and give the relevant information. Which of the 3 forum you lurk out, what is your user ID or your MSN email address.
  • I will not give out private accounts easily, so please be patient while I process your application.
What is the ADVANTAGE of having a Private Account?
1. You can access tons of stuff that I have. Like MP3's, Videos and Warez.
2. Top quality MP3's (I settle for the best quality)
3. Files are constantly updated with the latest stuff.
4. Don't need to wait for Public FTP to show it.
5. Files don't just go missing after just one day.

Problems with my FTP
1. Max download speed is about 10kB/s. (Not my fault, my broadband connection uploads is limited to 128kbps.)
2. Again due to my broadband connection, I can only allow 3 person to login per session. anymore than that, you have to wait.

Well, anyway "Happy Downloading". Sharing is caring.

Recommended program to log into my FTP : Smartftp.

Recommended
web browser to log into my FTP : Get Firefox

While I do not block IE users, I would prefer if the above two programs are use instead of IE.

[Storyboard] To Love A Thief

"To Love A Thief". This is not going to be the title of my new original story. "To Love A Thief" is the main point of this yet to be titled story that I am going to write. I have been planning the storyline this past week, and I am very happy with my planning. Now all I need to do is figure out a title for my story and I can start writing.

So, anyone here have a suggestion or contribution about the title, I will be very happy heard from you all. And if your suggestion or contribution is being used, you will be duely credited in my story.
After writing about 20+ fanfiction story, I think it is time I do something else. And "To Love A Thief" is going to be my step forward into the world of writing stories.

[Anime Music]When you get fed up with commercial music!

I used to listen to those "commercial" music on radio. For a period of time, I thought they were some great music and song. Then, I was introduced to the world of Anime Music, and I got hooked instantly. Then, after listening to anime music for like a gazillion times, I came to a conclusion. COMMERCIAL MUSIC SUCKS!. In fact, I totally stop listening to commercial music. Now, I listen to anime music from my computer. My favourite anime song?

/me is listening to Yoko Kanno, Maaya Sakamoto - Yakusoku Wa Iranai [#01 @ Yakusoku Wa Iranai (1996)] [MP3|195kbps|3:35] [foobar2000 v0.8.2]

Yoko Kanno is one good composer of music, while Maaya Sakamoto has a great voice. To me, they are the "Ultimate" pair to good anime music. Better than commercial CRAP music that is being produced day in day out. And they think piracy is taking away their moneys. I would say it is the quality of their songs that is the problem.

Well, more on that later. Now to listen to

/me is listening to Yoko Kanno, Maaya Sakamoto - Tomodachi [#02 @ Yakusoku Wa Iranai (1996)] [MP3|194kbps|3:43] [foobar2000 v0.8.2]

Another great song from the Yoko Maaya combination. :)

我的心理之謎已經結了嗎?。。。。。。。。我不知道!

[TVB]To Get Unstuck In Time (3)

I finally figure out why the opening theme song is very disturbing. It is because of the song! The song really fits with the scenes that is being shown. Now lies the problem. The music really place the atmosphere in the opening theme song scenes. That's the reason why I become disturbed by the opening theme song scenes.

Mystery solved.....

[Bitching,ranting,venting]Spiderman (YUCK) 2

Probably I am the only person in this world that totally HATES both the Spiderman movies. Why? Because I don't like how they just modify Spiderman's mechanical webslinger to unlimited web. Unlimited web? What is this? You think having unlimited web can do good to Spiderman's character. So what is the fuss about? Nothing with wrong with unlimited web right?
WRONG!!!!!
It is never right with unlimited web! Why? As a Spiderman fan, I really have to make a stand. And my stand is,

NO UNLIMITED WEB!!!!.

I don't care what anyone will say to me or flame me or whatever me. I don't care the least bit. I will continue to say it. Spiderman is NOT about having unlimited web. What the comic Spiderman has, that the movie Spiderman doesn't have. Intelligences.

In the movie, Peter Parker is being turned from a person that should be smart in the inside into someone that doesn't know what he really wants. Ok, probably he knows that he needs to be Spiderman, but that's it! Nothing more than that. While in the comic, that's is where Peter Parker is really portrait. He BUILD his own webslinger! While the movie Peter Parker doesn't even need to build any damn thing! All he needs is to make his costume and that's it!

Now here is the major differences between the comic Spiderman and the movie Spiderman. The comic Spiderman while fighting the bad guys, he needs to becareful of running out of web. And when he does run out of web, he needs to rely on his other abilities to survive. While in the movie, does he even need to worry about the running out of web? Nope, he doesn't need to worry about running out of web. He can shoot limitless web without worrying that it will run out. I find this rather insulting, because Spiderman is not about his web, it is about how he overcomes problems and bad guys when he RUNS out of web. That's in the comic. That's is what I admire about Spiderman actually. Although he is a reluctant hero, he still knows that he has a job to do. And with great difficulty, he overcomes it with his wits and intelligences and not because he has unlimited web.

As a Spiderman fan and friend, I stand by my boycott. Even if it is ONLY ME that is boycotting, I will still do it, because I believe in the "real" Spiderman and not this Hollywood created Spiderman.

I have sweared that I won't watch Spiderman 2 nor anything movie by the director or the cast of Spiderman. Even in the next life, or in any lifetime, I won't accept this Hollywood Spiderman and no one on earth is going to change my mind.

Spiderman 2 gets a 0...out of 5.......

[TVB]To Get Unstuck In Time (2)

This series is really disturbing my mind. All because of the scenes from the opening theme song. Haven't before that I am more disturbed by a TVB series. This is the first time i am disturbed even before I watched the first episode. Truth to be told, I would be jumping and yelling like a crazy person if my prediction is correct and the "disturbing" scenes turned out to be true.

You might be saying "Oh my god! This person is really crazy. Getting emotional because of a tv series!".

Yeah, so what? I have been like that since childhood. I grew up with cartoons. They are my friends. They are still my friends. As I am growing up, the television is my only compainion until I meet my friends. Until now, I still watch the television. In fact, I will try to watch almost everything. That is why I turned out to be a fanfiction writer.

Now back to "To Get Unstuck In Time". This series probably is going to make me go crazy or insane or something like that. Just because of the scenes from the opening theme song. Why do I need to make a big fuss about it? Honestly, I don't know why I always like to comment about the show/series I watched. Probably because my character is like that. I like to comment about anything that I like and don't like. I like to talk about the "possibilities" that might happened. I also like to talk the "IF's" and the "What's". That's me. :)

[TVB]To Get Unstuck In Time

TVB's 2004 lineup, this show got my attention by just reading the title of it. The show is about a police officer and how he solved cold cases by communicating with his father in the past by using an old handphone. Yeah, I know this isn't an original idea. It was ripped off from the movie "Frequency". But hey, I haven't watch "Frequency", so who cares? It is the how the storyline is implemented that is important. And after watching 4 episodes of the series, I am impressed with the storyline is being laid out. However, one disturbing thing about this series is, when I watched the opening theme song scenes, some of the scenes in the opening song is very disturbing. Disturbing in the senses that I don't really like what the storyline is going to turn out as the story progressed. If my experiences as a fanfiction writer has anything to go by, I just don't like the prediction that I have made for the storyline just by watching the scenes from the opening theme song. Call me paranoid or over thinking, I don't care. I think this is one story that is going to get on my nerves for "unlimited possibilities" in the storyline. I think this series is also going to be one of my favourite series too. If you all remember, I like to think about the possibilities, and this show really fits that bill.

I am bored. So, sue me.

Me, using email again to blog. For no apparent reason. Must be the boredness or something like that. Or it is just me? I really don't have the slightest clue. I wanted to play Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden, but then this level is freaking hard. So, I got lazy again, and now I am stuck with nothing to do. Anyone out there can help me overcome this boredom?

Gmail invites - You have 1 invitation.

Nani? Only one invitation? Sigh. And I thought I could invite more than just 1 person. So, I had to give my cousin priority first. The rest who had bookings with me will have to wait a little bit more to get an invitation.

Silent Hill 4 : Aftermath - Speaker problems

After the initial excitement of getting the Silent Hill 4 : The Room OST, the aftermath is a bit disappointing. First, I notice my speaker is having some weird "clicking" sound at 2 second intervals. It will happen no matter what, with the exception of turning it off. Even with the computer turned off and the speaker on, the clicking sound is still there. What the hell? I just bought the speakers no too long ago, or should I say, about 1 month ago, and now it is annoying me to hell with the clicking sound. Blardy hell.

So, I had to dig out my old speaker and pack up the new speaker. Damn, now to suffer another annoying thing that result from the using of my old speaker. That is, if anyone called me on my handphone or my handphone is updating itself, the frequency interferences will cause my old speaker to Buzz like hell. However, it is better than having the annoying "clicking" sound at 2 seconds intervals.

Hell, now I have to check if my new speaker is in good condition or not. If not I have to travel 400km to Kuala Lumpur, find my cousin and do a RMA. :(

Bloody. :(

Silent Hill : Akira Yamaoka's Heaven's Night

Just finished downloading Silent Hill 4 : The Room Original Soundtracks. Now, I am adding the whole OST to Foobar2000 and click play.

First song - /me is listening to Akira Yamaoka, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn - Tender Sugar [#01 @ SILENT HILL 4 THE ROOM ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACKS (DISC 1) (2004)] [MP3|189kbps|5:32] [foobar2000 v0.8.2]
Do I even need to say anything? It blew me away!
10 out of 10 rating.

Slowly as I type out this blog, each song blew away my music senses. The town of Silent Hill suddenly appear before me. I see the notorious fog of Silent Hill blinding parts of the buildings. As each song played, it was apparent Akira Yamaoka had did it again. He dished out a superb OST.

I had to skipped a few songs, since my cousin was telling this song is good, that song is even better, until I don't know which song to listen to. So, in the end, I settle for song number 21 -

/me is listening to Akira Yamaoka, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn - Room Of Angel [#21 @ SILENT HILL 4 THE ROOM ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACKS (DISC 1) (2004)] [MP3|180kbps|7:08] [foobar2000 v0.8.2]

Indeed. Another superb song by Akira Yamaoka, while Mary is really GOOD!

After song number 21, the next track is song number 22 -

/me is listening to Akira Yamaoka, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn - Waiting For You ~LIVE AT "Heaven's Night"~ (Unreleased Tunes) [#22 @ SILENT HILL 4 THE ROOM ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACKS (DISC 1) (2004)] [MP3|235kbps|6:19] [foobar2000 v0.8.2]

And this one really BLEW ME TOTALLY AWAY! The background guitar by Akira Yamaoka is at par or even better than his previous Silent Hill OST. However, I would like to say that ALL of Akira's works are top notch music. He is truely the God of Guitar.

My recommendation?
GET THIS OST by HOOK or BY CROOK! Now, would you excuse me while I relisten to song number 22. It is truely Akira Yamaoka's Heaven's Night.

Additionals :

Now that I have listened to a few more songs, here is the few more l33t music from the OST that is a must listen.(in no particular order)

/me is listening to Akira Yamaoka, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn - Your Rain [#15 @ SILENT HILL 4 THE ROOM ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACKS (DISC 1) (2004)] [MP3|191kbps|4:42] [foobar2000 v0.8.2]

/me is listening to Akira Yamaoka - Nightmarish Waltz [#13 @ SILENT HILL 4 THE ROOM ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACKS (DISC 1) (2004)] [MP3|171kbps|3:09] [foobar2000 v0.8.2]

/me is listening to Akira Yamaoka, Joe Romersa - Cradel Of Forest [#11 @ SILENT HILL 4 THE ROOM ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACKS (DISC 1) (2004)] [MP3|194kbps|6:30] [foobar2000 v0.8.2]

CSI mania!

First it was CSI Las Vegas. Gil Grissom and his CSI team of Catherine Willows,Warrick Brown,Nick Stokes,Sara Sidle,Dr. Al Robbins and Greg Sanders took the TV world by storm. Then came CSI:Miami. Horatio Caine,Tim Speedle,Eric Delko,Alexx Woods and Calleigh Duquesne brought another storm into the TV world. Thus, the CSI era had already begun. The next CSI TV show to appear will be CSI:New York. Detective Mack "Mac" Taylor will be leading his New York CSI team as the show hits the TV screen in the US in November 2004. And the CSI dream continues.....

On a personal note, CBS's CSI can be so popular, probably because of the mystery and advanced technology that appeared in the show. I don't know if forensic sciences can actually be learned by watching the show, but I have to admit it, after watching Grissom and gang tear their cases wide open with their technology and their knowledge, I am interested in forensic sciences. One most interesting thing about the show however would be the usage of DNA profiling. Most of the cases was solved because of DNA acquired at the crime scenes. DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) are molecules that carry the genetic information necessary for the organization and functioning of most living cells and control the inheritance of characteristics. Only recently that DNA is the heavily debated topic because people have managed to clone using DNA. So, I do think the show do educate people on the usefulness of DNA. However, cloning is still a big issue that is still been debated. I will leave it at that.

Back to CSI. Season 4 of CSI Las Vegas ended and I can't wait for more CSI when it returns in August. And I can't wait for CSI New York to debut in November. Before I stop, I wonder if there will be other CSI shows in the making? CSI Chicago perhaps? You can never know as the CSI Era is still in it's "Golden Age".

My blog looks terrible on computer's that doesn't have chinese support.

I know majority of people don't have chinese support install onto their Windows machine. Well, there is really nothing I can do however. I will still continue to blog in dual language. Chinese and English. I am Chinese, and I will use my native language to blog regardless. Even if those visiting my blog can't even read Chinese. At least 1 in 10 can read or has chinese support installed.

If you know chinese and want to read my blog entries that are written in chinese, then I suggest that you install Chinese support go here -> How to install East Asian Language Support Under Windows XP
or
you can go here -> NJWIN CJK Viewer. (NJWIN is a "plugin" software designed to enable normal windows programs to display and print Chinese, Japanese and Korean (CJK) characters under the standard English and Western Windows environment.)

Hope you all who like to read my blog will be able to read the chinese characters using the above two methods. Good Luck.

[TVB]Virtues of Harmony 2 - Waiting in agony 3!

Another of my ranting about waiting for episodes of Virtues of Harmony 2 to arrive. It just can't stop. Why? Because I am totally restless. I need to know what happen after episode 224!!! I just need to know!!! I could go and rent episode 225 to 228 now, but what's the use? I have to wait another week for episode 229 to 232! And another week later for episode 233 to 236, and so on! I just can't do that! I want to know the storyline ALLL ATTTT ONCEEEE!!!!

So, I rather sacrifice and WAIT 5 MONTHS!!! Geez......5 months just for 100 episodes. Don't know if I can survive or not. I hope I can.

Additional ranting/venting :

I was almost forced to install REAL media player just to download Virtues Of Harmony 2. I simply can't wait for 5 months. Blardy hell.

However, my computer is more important than anything else. So, I rather wait. :)

Sunday, June 13, 2004

[TVB]Virtues of Harmony 2 - Waiting in agony 2!

I found out from my rental shop that they will only get 4 episodes per week. So, 5 weeks is 20 episodes, 10 weeks is 40, 15 weeks is 80, 20 weeks is 100. 20 weeks equals 5 months more or less. 5 months. Oh my god! I need to wait 5 months if I want to watch lots of episodes continously.

Geez, I wished I could just watch everything NOW!!! NOW!!!

Oh, someone please save me from this WAITING Hell!!!!!! ARRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH......

Additionals :

I am preparing to wait for 6 months for about 120 episodes of Virtues of Harmony 2. 6 months is a freaking long time to wait. Damn. This is really frustrating. And I can't download over the net because those Hong Kong people like to release them drama series in REAL format. And I don't like to use REAL format. :(

Sigh.

Additionals 2 :

Why am I crazy about a tv series/soap opera anyway? I will tell you all why. I am someone who learn from the storyline from the series. The question is : Learn what? Some people might argue that there is nothing to learn. It is in fact a TV series. It is all fiction. There is NOTHING to learn. I disagree.

I am not a normal person. I learn experiences from TV series. I grew up watching cartoons. I learn a lot from cartoons. Then I started watching tv series. And I learn from them. You might ask : What have I learned?

I learn about life. I learn what not to do in real life. I learn that people aren't as easy as they seem. Couple with my real life experiences, I have turned into someone who believe more in the TV than in real life. That is my curse.

But a curse that I intend to keep. It makes me special in the eyes of other people. Like I care if I turned out to be a freak? I am what I am. I don't intend to act as if I am someone else. That's just not me.

Xfresh.com forum blues

Going back to Xfresh.com forum. Dejavu all over again. This is the second time I have left and return to Xfresh.com. Weird. I can't seem to get away from it, and I am 25 years old and ain't no teenager anymore anyway. So, what is so special about Xfresh.com?

The only reason that I could think of is : it's Malaysian.

I think that's it!

[TVB]Virtues of Harmony 2 - Waiting in agony!

No, there is nothing wrong with the series. It is just me in agony. My local TVB rental shop don't have available episode 225 and above. So, you see my dilemma! I have to wait for episode 225 and above to be available!!! That's the problem!!! I CANNOT WAIT!!!!! I just cannot wait, I need to know the storyline as it go!!! I can't just wait 1 month for episode 225 to be available!!!! I need to watch straight right up to episode 400+!! Letting me wait only makes me feel restless. I just need to know NOW!!! I can't wait! If anyone out there has Virtues of Harmony 2 available, GIVE ME!!! NOW!!!
Please, I beg of you!!! PLEASE!!!!!

Additionals :

Not that I am a tv fanatic. I just want to know the storyline as soon a possible instead of waiting day by day, week by week. I rather know the storyline hour by hour. So, I can finish a 400 episode series in 1 week or less. I admit I am crazy, but I just need to know the storyline. Why? Because I learn from the storyline and incorporate the storyline into my own real life. Why again? because I am in the process of creating my own style, my own living and my own lifestyle. I REFUSE to follow what normal people do. Just like Frank Sinatra's song "My Way". [quote]I did it my way[/quote]

So, everything I do and plan to do, I will do it MY WAY!
