No, that's not a spelling mistake. That's the actual name for the latest crime-busting series to hit US Television. It's call Numb3rs.
In this series, mathematics is used to predict and solve crimes. A rather good concept for a tv series!!!
So, mathematics isn't just about numb3rs after all. It can show people that crime does pay. So, mathematics is as important as forensics.
CSI better watch out! .........Your days might be Numb3rs-ed......

Point Pleasant is the New Sunnydale!
The Buffy era might be over, but from the looks of it, Point Pleasant is the 'New Sunnydale'!
However, the name of the heroine/villian is Christina????
The name is too common.

Gilmore Girls - The Lolerai and Luke Affairs
Wanna bet that Lolerai and Luke is going to split up sooner or later?
Bet 1 : They will split in half a season
Bet 2 : They will split in a season
Bet 3 : They will split in one and a half seasons
Bet 4 : They will split in two seasons
Bet 5 : I BET MY LIFE THAT THEY WILL NOT SPLIT.
Bet 6 : Kenny Lee Jian Siong's BET THEY WILL SPLIT, but DUNNO WHEN!
Bet 7 : I bet EVERYTHING right down to the kitchen sink that Lolerai and Luke can last more than 3 seasons together before splitting up!
Bet 8 : I bet you all will lose your bets!
Bet 9 : I bet those who Bet on Bet 8 will be the losing one!
Bet 10 : QUICK! BETMAN, TO THE BETMOBILE!
Honestly, my money is on Hollywood and the notorious "Scriptwriting 101" manual (Hollywood version). Actually, I don't need to bet at all. It is common thing to split people up when the ratings are not up to standard or something like that. When you think about it, I waited 4 seasons to see Lolerai and Luke to get together, but I also anticipated that this "affair" will NOT LAST or WILL NOT HAVE THE HAPPILY EVER AFTER that some of us Gilmore Girls fans would hoped/wished for!!!!. Why? Because this is Hollywood, this is US, this is American TV.
I wished the nightmare will not happen, but it is inevitable. In a tv series, a relationship rarely last pass 2 seasons. Or should I said, splitting up is just a rule in a the game of love.

Point Pleasant - SUPER BUFFY WANNABES!!!!!
Ok, it sure isn't Buffy, but the lead actress has a nose that is almost like Buffy.
However, she isn't really the good guy. She is the Dark One's(think Devil) daughter WITH A SOUL!!!!! (maybe not a soul, but with a heart!!)
So, is Point Pleasant going to become the new TV series dynasty or we will never ever have another dynasty like the Buffy/Angel era?
Let's hope this Buffy Wannabe is up for the task. But from my point of view, there is never going to be a Buffy/Angel like era/dynasty anytime soon.
But I could be wrong..........

Of TV Series, Theme Songs and Hong Kong vs US
It's 2005, it's just any other year. However, the good thing is there will be new tv series to watch.
Over in the USA, a couple of new series was aired.
First on the list is Medium is a series about a woman name Allison who has the "gift" of being able to see death people and also talk to them.
Next is a comedy series. Committed is about a guy and girl and the usual crap about how they get together and such. Nothing new here!
Looking closer to home, and TVB Hong Kong has released their lineup for 2005. I rather show the poster than talk about it since I don't know anything about it anyway. Besides, looking is way better than reading. A picture is worth a thousand words!
The US side is going to release a few more new series as the new season starts. On the Hong Kong side, the new year started with Infernal Affairs......PLUS Water Margin.
The new series Shades of Truth (previously known as Water Margin Infernal Affairs) is about (you guessed it) one of the most famous character in Water Margin, Wu Song (武松)and another not so famous character in Water Margin. Mix that with today's Infernal Affairs and you get Shades of Truth. From the Shades of Truth trailer, you can see that it mix both ancient and modern era into the series. Another lame attempt to sell the "idea" as a new idea. Bleh.
Overall for the moment, the new year does look promising. Then again, TVB never ever start the year with a bang. They always end it with a bang though. Let's hope it stays the same this year.
