Does Skype have spyware?
I have googled, I have asked at forums, I have asked some skype users, and until now I don't have an answer to the question "Does Skype have spyware?"
Call me paranoid or anything, but I naturally won't trust a program that came out of the same development team as Kazaa. And we all know Kazaa has tons of it. However, having said that, no one out there is certain wherever Skype does have spyware or not.
The best everyone could prove that Skype got spyware is to point to the Skype EULA. But even that, there isn't enough evidences to prove beyond reasonable doubt to say that Skype indeed has spyware.
This thread here -> Skype EULA says it's spyware/backdoor trojan? came out first on Google search about Skype and it's EULA.
After reading through all posts, there is nothing to prove that the EULA is talking about spyware. And those who are using Skype didn't say anything or didn't noticed about Skype eating their bandwidth or the program is doing some spyware related things.
But still, the fear of spyware is holding me back from using Skype. And with no prove that Skype doesn't have spyware, unless someone can show me beyond reasonable doubt that Skype DOESN'T have spyware, I will continue to stand by the sidelines and watch.
EULA = end-user license agreement

Numb3rs......just how accurate is it?
New TV series in the US, Numb3rs is currently in Episode 5 now.
Overall, it is a nice and refreshing series about how Mathematics can be used to solve crimes and predict criminal behaviour.
My only question is how ACCURATE is the Mathematics being used in the series? Is it real? or just partly FICTION?

Using IE to visit my blog.
If you are using IE to visit my blog, then you will be seeing a brownish title above my blog!
Why is that?
That's because IE doesn't SHOW PNG properly. My title, which is Beyond Thoughts Dreams [ 一個夢] is in Portable Network Graphics format. And it is in 24bit.
IE doesn't show 24bit PNG properly. So, I strongly RECOMMEND those still using IE to go use Firefox.
After installing Firefox, visit my blog again. You will noticed the DIFFERENCES.
Try Firefox, what have you got to lose?

Gilmore Girls : The Luke and Lolerai affairs Final Thoughts
After sleeping over it, finally I have another hypothesis about Luke and Lolerai.
The signs were there, the story was predictable but the ending is UNpredictable.
It's a wait and see situation afterall.
Not really final thoughts afterall even.....

My hypothesis was PROVEN TRUE!!!!
Gilmore Girls, Episode 14, Season 5.
Luke and Lolerai BROKE UP.
Wow, it took 4 seasons to get them together.....
and it only took ONE episode to break them apart.....and in the process broke the whole town of Stars Hollow up into two faction. Pink Faction to Lolerai, and Blue Faction to Luke.
Thus, my hypothesis about them breaking apart was proven TRUE!!!
So, we are back to square one. And I am back to square one. Wonder how MANY more seasons is for them to get back together again.
My NEW hypothesis.......they will never be together ever again.
THE END............
.......unless I am proven wrong...but I am NEVER WRONG!!!

Gmail overdose......
Gmail the email provided by Google.com with 1GB of space. When it all started out, Gmail was and still is invite ONLY. When it first started out, it was exclusive to a select few. Then came the invitations. Soon, people are inviting friends and family. Soon, those people invite their friends and family and so on. Now, everyone already has or even have 2 or more gmails accounts. But the invites is still there. More than ever. It used to be a min of 6 or 4. Now, it is like 50!!!
Tell me this isn't a Gmail overdose...because I can invite myself 50 times over, and still the invite counter will reset back to 50 invites.

Valentine's Day blues & Reluctant Heroism
Yesterday, I didn't even know it was February 13th. The day before Valentine's Day. I was typing about Reluctant Heroism in tv series, movies and animes. I finished my article and was about the published it when I accidentally click something on my mouse that caused a bug of Firefox to crash Firefox! (I am using a development build of Firefox, so bugs are very common in development build.)
With that Firefox crash, my whole article about Reluctant Heroism was lost! And I am too lazy to retype it for the moment.
And today's Valentine's Day. So what is the big deal anyway? People can waste money buying flowers on a day where florist's charge almost triple the amount for a dozen of roses.
Yeah, yeah. Say all you all want. I admit I don't have a partner in my life and I am just whining about it. So what?
Doesn't mean Valentine's Day is so special until you need to spend a fortune buying flowers that will only last a few days. Ok, maybe the feeling or memories will last a lifetime, but that doesn't mean there aren't others way to do it? right?

Dead Like Her!!!!
CANCELED! ENDED!
Looks like it's the end for Dead Like Me. This series is about 18-year-old George Lass dies when a piece of the MIR space station falls from the sky and hits her...Darkly comic and quirky, the show follows George as she helps in catching the souls of people moments before they're destined to die....
yup, she is a Grim Reaper!
A good series, but it's CANCELED!!!!
But it shouldn't BE CANCELED!!!!!
IT SHOULD BE CONTINUED!!!!!!
IT SHOULD BE CONTINUED!!!!!!
IT SHOULD BE CONTINUED!!!!!!
IT SHOULD BE CONTINUED!!!!!!
IT SHOULD BE CONTINUED!!!!!!
IT SHOULD BE CONTINUED!!!!!!

Point Pleasant? or Medium?
Point Pleasant isn't doing great at the ratings, but it is somehow holding it's own at the moment, but I don't see anything special in the series that would have make an impact with the viewers.
Medium on the other hand is raking in the ratings, but from my point of view, it is also doesn't really have anything to shout about for the first 5 episodes. Probably it is just too early to see if the talking to the dead is a good idea for a TV series.
So, the only interesting thing for the moment is Gilmore Girls. It's going to be a Chris vs Luke thingy. Why do I have a feeling that sounds familiar? Oh yeah, probably because this has been done for like insane amount of times. It is "Scriptwriting 101".
Bleh.
