Azuma Kazuma isn't terribly clever, but he's got a good heart and great skill - at baking. Since childhood, he's been on a quest to create the perfect bread to represent Japan internationally. Now, he seeks to enter the famous bakery Pantasia, in hopes of reaching his goal. But plots abound...
English Bread, German Bread, French Bread....where's Japan bread?
Azuma Kazuma. He will be the one to make Japan's own bread!
Kawachi Kyousuke. Azuma's friend and rival and also colleague. He is the weakest link! (Well, when he is in seed-mode, then he can be a force to be reckon with, somehow).
Suwabara Kai. He is the Samurai-cum-baker. And main rival to Azuma Kazuma. (However, so far the score is 3 Azuma - 1 Kai)
Tsukino Azusagawa. She owns Pantasia Southern Tokyo Branch. And she is the one that asked Azuma and Kawachi to come over to her branch to work as bakers.
Pantasia Southern Tokyo branch manager Ken Matsushiro. He knows quite alot of things too about bread. And acts as a proxy for Tsukino Azusagawa who is too young to manage the store just yet.
Meister Kirisaki. (looks familir, don't he?) He is the General Manager for the Main Branch of Pantasia group.

Ryou Kuroyanagi. His skill is to taste and judge how good a bread is! And he "KNOWS" everything! (almost everything actually).
Kinoshita Kageto. He is the senior employee at the Pantasia Southern Tokyo branch. And he is mostly forgotten by the others, but he has a special skill though.
